Support our Mission!
Ten years ago, our mom was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. As 4-year-old and 7-
year-old boys, the thought of losing our mom was terrifying. But our parents were able to assure
us honestly that everything would be ok. Even though CML is a devastating disease, just a few
years before our family’s diagnosis, a team of scientists developed a truly-miraculous pill that
stops CML in its tracks. That pill saved our mom’s life. We are asking for your support to
help us pay our good fortune forward, in hopes that one day no children will lose the ones they
love and depend on to cancer.
We have the privilege of being nominated as candidates for The Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society’s (LLS) 2025 Tennessee Student Visionaries of the Year campaign. This campaign is a
seven-week leadership development program that runs from January 12th to March 2 nd to raise
money to help blood cancer patients not only survive but thrive after treatment.
We have brought together a team of committed friends and family to partner with us on this
journey. Together, we have set a fundraising goal of $100,000! Any money we raise will help LLS
to fund the most promising blood cancer research across the globe.
LLS has a 70+-year track record, supporting virtually every advancement in blood cancer
treatment – including the “miracle” medicine that our mom takes daily to stay alive. LLS has
invested more than $1.5 billion in cancer research since 1949, leading to breakthroughs in
immunotherapy, genomics, and personalized medicine that is improving patients’ lives. LLS is
also a leader in advocacy for policies that protect patient access to these treatments, and LLS
works to provide patients and families with hope, guidance, education and support.
We became LLS Candidates because we want as many children as possible to have the
opportunity we are able to enjoy this year–spending a Ten Year Survivor Anniversary with our
mom.

Team's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.
I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help.
This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:
- Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
- Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
- Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!
